Our Mission

Who We Are

Our nonpartisan initiative is dedicated to restoring voting rights for currently and formerly incarcerated individuals, recognizing their inherent human dignity and fundamental right to participate in the democratic process. We advocate for policies that promote inclusivity, equity, and rehabilitation, aiming to break down barriers to civic engagement and foster a more just and representative democracy. Through education, advocacy, and community mobilization, we strive to empower formerly incarcerated individuals to reclaim their voices and contribute to shaping the future of our society.
This initiative, created by LEADing for Life Scholars, aims to address this injustice head-on. This initiative is part of Freedom Ballot Coalition, a LEADing for Life's Community Action Project initiative. Freedom Ballot Coalition is partnered with Achieve, Know, Help, Lead (A.K.H.L.) Organization.
